It’s been a pretty dry start to our season so this is a special foray, planned as an art outing. While we hope to find mushrooms (I’ve found a few!) we will be collecting flowers, plants and whatever else we find and painting together. Please feel free to bring any art supplies and paper that you wish to work with. We will be providing watercolor paper, watercolor pencils, brushes. I’ll be bringing a few books for inspiration, including a Sierra Club Naturalist’s Guide and various botanical artist books. Please consider bringing a blanket to sit on. While this may very well be a true mushroom foray, we can make it fun and creative regardless.
