The Winter Mushroom foray will take place along Cherry Creek in central Denver, details to follow for those who sign up. The location we will be hunting is ideal for this time of year- a southern facing slope. We will be putting the principles discussed in the online portion into practice. If you were unable to attend the online discussion, it is highly recommended to read this article prior to the foray to be up to speed. As said in the article, “one needs to manage expectations in that this tends to be more of a looking exercise than finding exercise at this time of year.” With this said, we already have reports of oysters out this year!
